  Hello and Welcome

Platinum

Braecroft is home to a number of animals, including llamas, horses, dogs, pet sheep, chickens, Lancelot the rooster  & George the cat.

My main focus is on breeding and training llamas. This is simply because there are far fewer llamas in Australia and I think they deserve a lot more recognition as wonderful companions. My herd is friendly, calm and relaxed around people. They are handled using respectful techniques that accept and appreciate the innate nature of these beautiful animals.

We are always happy to provide obligation free advice. We don't try to talk visitors into buying llamas, in fact sometimes it seems we do the opposite. Llamas are certainly not for everyone. We try to cover both the positive and negative aspects of caring for these beautiful animals. Our goal is to have happy new owners and happy camelids.

I am committed to the camelid community and have recently taken on the position as secretary for the Llama Association of Australasia (LAA).

Visitors are always welcome to come and meet the crew, please call or email ahead of time to make sure we are home.
