| About Us
I am Jo and my husband is Ken. We live on a 25 acre property near Taralga in the Southern Tablelands of NSW. We are city converts to a country life and love every minute of it. Ken works full time which keeps him pretty busy and my job is the care of all the critters that share our small farm. Braecroft is home to llamas (12), horses (2) and two visiting, dogs (3), pet sheep (6), hens(15), Roosters (3) and George the cat. I don't really believe in ownership of animals, I consider myself more of a caretaker or guardian than owner. It is my responsibility to love and nurture all the individuals that share our home. I have a great deal of respect for all animals and try to cater for both their physical and emotional needs. Please visit the Meet our llamas & Other residents pages for pictures and more information on our furry and feathered family members. I am visually impaired and I couldn't manage to run our property without the constant assistance provided by my ever faithful guide dog, Khan. The Adaptations page goes into more detail about how I run a farm with a visual impairment. My diary is a daily account of living on the property, it covers everything that happens here good and bad. If you think you would like to visit us in person please visit the Farm visits page for more information or email us.
Braecroft's Mission My mission is to be a responsible llama breeder. I therefore abide by the following self imposed rules:
